Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits selects Everbridge's critical event management platform

Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits, a North American wine and spirits company, has partnered with Everbridge Inc. to roll out its critical event management platform to help improve employee safety and communication. The platform's Safety Connection tool can locate remote employees during severe weather events and send them instructions via digital signage, SMS, voice, email, alert systems and sirens, according to a press release.

Everbridge built multiple levels of redundancy into the platform to help ensure the information is delivered to employees and enable real-time verification for companies.

"Employee safety and enterprise resiliency are paramount to our organization, and we continually seek innovative solutions and partnerships that ensure we are meeting these demands, especially during severe weather events that can impact our operations," John Liuzzi, national director of business continuity at Southern Glazer's, said in the release. "With Everbridge, we feel we have found that partner and look forward to leveraging their platform every day to keep our team safe and informed during a wide range of potential disruptions and events."
