Solutions for campus-wide video distribution, digital signage introduced

Key Digital, a manufacturer of technology for HDTV applications, has introduced its Enterprise AV-HD Over IP Solutions, KD-IP120 and KD-IP120POE. These products are designed for commercial and residential applications, according to a company press release.

Key Digital produces a variety of HDMI switchers to provide solutions to installers of commercial and residential A/V Systems.

Key Digital's HD over IP solutions create an expandable HDMI over IP system that can be scaled for installation. The KD-IP120Tx unit supports HDMI Pass-through to receive video or extract audio on the transmit side. Adding KD-IP120Tx and KD-IP120Rx extenders to an existing system expands it up to 64 Tx units and up to 512 of Rx units, the release said.

The KD-IP120 supports up to 1080p@60 (2.25Gbps) using Cat5e/6 UTP/STP cable.
