SiliconCore Technology unveils 4K 3-D LED wall

January 18, 2019

SiliconCore Technology recently unveiled its 4K 3-D LED wall at Fujita's technology center in Tokyo. Clients can use 3-D active glasses to visualize their products on the 220-inch fine pixel pitch display, according to a press release.

Fujita selected the 1.2-millimeter pixel pitch display to showcase its projects. When the display is not showing 3-D content, Fujita can display other presentations and videos on it.

The display offers refresh rates of more than 120 Hertz per second, as well as flicker free 3-D images and 1,200 nits of brightness. Silicon Core uses its patented Common Cathode Technology to dissipate heat without a fan.

"We needed a display that would be able to showcase content in both 2-D and 3-D, without a complicated setup for our employees. Due to SiliconCore's incredibly high refresh rates and HDR technology, the display produces the best color reproduction and image clarity that we have seen on the market. This ensures that the fine details shown in the content will not be missed," Yoshinori Kumita, operating officer and general manager of technology development division, Fujita, said in the release. "SiliconCore’s own technology also offers advanced features such as high brightness and power efficiency, which assures us we've invested in a high quality and long-term product."
