U.K.-based digital signage provider SignStix is joining forces with machine-to-machine and data communications specialist Adey Electronics to provide what it says is "a completely secure digital signage solution with unrivaled industrial connectivity, speed and flexibility."
The company said its solution now has enhanced functionality by utilizing the power of remote M2M technology. The new partnership with Adey Electronics allows SignStix users to enjoy improved connectivity to ensure digital signage can be created and deployed anywhere within minutes, the company said. Adey's industrial-grade dual SIM routers also ensure that each SignStix device is always connected, available and secure.
Users can perform real-time diagnostics using the SignStix Director tool, giving organizations complete visibility of their entire signage estate. From one central location, SignStix users can control and gain a holistic view of what's playing in different zones, in addition to retrieving device health checks, the company said.
The partnership also introduces real-time device monitoring including GPS location tracking, signage strength, data usage, reporting and billing tools. Using Adey's secure cellular routers and VPN services, SignStix can be installed anywhere without any reliance on or integration to a local network.
"Combining Adey's M2M integration expertise and the trusted B&B Electronics Conel cellular routers has made adoption and integration much easier for Signstix to deploy, where normal network connections may be restricted or not available at all," SignStix Director Nick Fearnley said in the announcement. "Using Adey's secure M2M cellular solutions, Signstix are able to offer the industry unrivaled control, speed, flexibility and statistical intelligence to complement the solution."
"SignStix is a great solution and we love working with it. It's flexible, secure and very simple to create and manage," said Lewis Harvey of Adey Electronics. "Adey Electronics is excited to be partnering with SignStix to provide the remote real-time connectivity element of SignStix's innovative M2M system through our cellular routers and VPN services. Secure real-time management of digital signage, literally anytime and anywhere."
SignStix also announced it will be exhibiting at this year's Retail Design Expo in London, a new event bringing together market-leading suppliers and thought-leading speakers from around the globe. The show will cover everything from new approaches to customer engagement to inspirational store formats and visual merchandising.
SignStix will be exhibiting on stand E40A with ASG Ltd., where there will be a full digital signage display powered by SignStix, all of which will be incorporated within a range of enclosures designed, manufactured and installed by ASG Ltd.
The event is free to attend and will be held at Olympia in Kensington, March 10 and 11.
