U.K.-based digital engagement platform SignStix announced it is expanding its global coverage by growing its presence in Africa through a strategic alliance with Nigeria-based digital advertising company Swift Digital Motions.

U.K.-based digital engagement platform SignStix announced it is expanding its global coverage by growing its presence in Africa through a strategic alliance with digital advertising company Swift Digital Motions.

The company said it now has the capability to deliver digital signage projects in Nigeria and its neighboring regions through this new partnership merger with SDMotions. This move into the African market comes at a time when the continent is experiencing a rapid adoption of digital signage as a marketing and communications tool, the company said.

"Digital signage, especially at an enterprise level, is still in its infancy in Nigeria and Africa," SDMotions Managing Director Ayodeji Dabiri said in the announcement. "What we are trying to do here is show the opportunities that are fully available to organizations when they have access to the best digital signage technology on the market. It will revolutionize the way we communicate and disseminate information."

According to SignStix, SDMotions operates one of the largest networks of indoor digital display screens in Africa, offering a tailored portfolio of digital signage products and services to enable SMEs and enterprise organizations to meet their organizational needs. SDMotions offers its digital services across a range of sectors including healthcare, government agencies, retailers, hotels and supermarkets.
