Signet Interactive, a digital marketing firm based in Houston, and FriendMedia, a digital signage company based in Pleasanton, California, recently announced their new partnership. Together, FriendMedia and Signet Interactive said they will offer a complete solution combining content-as-a-service and digital signage as a comprehensive, turnkey package.
FriendMedia provides digital signage hardware and software designed to empower advertising, digital marketing and creative communities to showcase targeted, relevant and visually appealing media content on digital displays with high-tolerance hardware units specifically configured with a digital signage software suite, according to the company.
Signet Interactive is a digital marketing agency focused on helping clients deliver relevant and compelling messages to their target audiences across all digital domains. The company said it recognized a potential business opportunity to help their customers deliver targeted content through FriendMedia's digital signage.
"Having the right content is the most critical factor in effective digital communications, but to many of our customers this remains a big challenge," FriendMedia founder and CEO Jeff Li said in the announcement. "This partnership with Signet empowers our entire customer base to finally cross that hurdle. We look forward to a long and rewarding relationship with Signet."
As opposed to digital signage users, value added resellers, service providers and integrators having to source their own content solutions or create content in-house, FriendMedia, in partnership with Signet Interactive, will offer content with its digital signage hardware and software, as part of a comprehensive, turnkey package, the companies said.
"The integration of our content development and storytelling capabilities is extremely valuable as it maximizes customer support efficiency and adoption," said Jeff James, chief creative officer for Signet Interactive. "Using the combined visual creativity from these two services enables companies to focus on the most immediate sales and communications opportunities with the people in their stores, and as a result improve overall customer activation and retention."
