Signage platform expands presence to international retailers

UK-based digital signage platform SignStix has partnered with Dubai-based retailer Sun & Sand Sports to provide a content management system and digital flagship store.

U.K.-based digital signage platform SignStixhas partnered with Dubai-based retailer Sun & Sand Sports to provide a content management system, according to a press release. This was done through a partnership with retail design consultancy Green Room to create a digital flagship store that provides interactive buying guides, digital wall displays, interactive playing zones and smart dressing rooms.

This flagship was deployed at The Dubai Mall and occupies over 18,000 square feet, according to the release. "We are currently featuring SignStix in our most prestigious store largest shopping mall, The Dubai Mall. We are planning to expand SignStix to more than 200 stores across the GCC, sporting up to 4,000 SignStix devices by the end of 2020, and we trust that SignStix will be the right platform for it," the Sun & Sand sports marketing team said in a statement.

SignStix also worked with Sun & Sands Sports to develop an app that deploys content packages via mobile devices. This can enable managers to update all content across their 7 square meters digital LED floor, screen and pelmet display.

"Partnering with SignStix has been collaborative and successful," Chris Chubb, digital director at Green Room Design, said in the release. "Incorporating digital signage within the retail environment has the potential to powerfully change the in-store atmosphere, it allows brands to take-over category space and it enables in-store flexibility at the push of a button."
