Shuttle Computer Group intros small form computer with 4G connectivity

Shuttle Computer Group Inc. has announced its DL10J 1.3L computer, which can connect to mobile 3G or 4G networks. The small form computer has a variety of inputs and outputs such as two USB 3.0 ports and one RJ45 GB LAN port, according to a press release.

The DL10J 1.3L uses Intel's Entry Level Gemini Lake processor, and it runs on 12 volts. Other features include:

  • One HDMI port, DisplayPort and VGA slot
  • Four USB 2.0 ports
  • One RS232/RS422/RS485 port
  • Supports two DDR4 SODIMM, 8GB maximum DDR4 MHz memory and a 2.5-inch HDD/SSD bay
  • Comes with a wireless antenna connector

"It's hard for us to pinpoint the best application for our new DL10J because it can be used in so many industries, and in so many ways," Robert Garcia, channel sales manager, Shuttle Computer Group, said in the release. "From a data collection point in an oil field that's in the middle of the desert to a taxi to a three-display fast-food restaurant, the robust DL10J is there."
