Russian-Israeli startup VISIOBOX, developer of a cloud-based platform for distributing digital advertising and video clips, announced it has entered the international market.

The company said it is primarily oriented on the organizers and owners of digital indoor advertising networks, owners of commercial facilities and transport companies that own screens to display advertisements.

According to the company, its system is user friendly and has an easy-to-use Web interface control, as well as offering an alternative to systems in which the content is loaded onto screens via flash drives, creating inconveniences as the number of presentation screens rises, and also requiring appropriate specialists to be hired.

"Most of the control systems must be installed on your own dedicated server, and this leads to additional costs of hiring the system administrator," VISIOBOX CEO Mikhail Andriyashin said in the announcement. "Our software does not need to be installed and configured. Everything is stored in the cloud. We service them and ensure the continuity of our customers' business process. Our concept is 'Buy it and switch it on.' No software configuration with the assistance of system administrators needed. Connecting the player to the cloud is as simple as connecting an iPad to the iCloud."

The company offers downloading the content from the cloud - each user of the system has a personal account with his own playlist of clips provided. This ensures a centralized control of video clips. The availability of CRM and personal accounts of advertisers is an important feature of the system when creating an advertising network, it said. Each advertiser can get his broadcast content statistics in his personal account.

Downloading the content from the "cloud" to the screen is provided by the means of a special player offered by VISIOBOX. The player is a microcomputer run by Linux. It has a 3G/4G module connected to the player for communication and an optional GPS/GLONASS module to determine the coordinates for advertising screens in transport.
