Engrain, a provider of touchscreen digital signage property marketing and messaging systems, has won an award for "Most Innovative Multi-Housing Technology" from Multi-Housing News for its TouchTour system, according to a company announcement.

The company's TouchTour touchscreen property tour and messaging product line was recognized by MHN readers as a groundbreaking marketing/leasing system, the announcement said.

“We’re thrilled to have received this recognition from the readers of Multi-Housing News,” said Audrey Bolema, director of business development at Engrain, in the announcement. “MHN is a leading publication in the industry and its readers are seasoned leasing agents, property managers and developers who understand that TouchTour not only attracts and engages prospects, it also streamlines guest card creation and follow-up through property management system integration. And they have also seen that TouchTour promotes community awareness and involvement, which leads to higher resident retention.”

TouchTour systems, which are run on large (42- to 84-inch) multitouch panels, are used in a variety of markets including multifamily, single family, condominiums, student housing and commercial real estate. When not in use for property tours, TouchTour screens display different types of information and messaging.

The company also features the TouchTour Transit product, which provides GPS-based public transit data to centrally-located digital signage
