PPDS debuts ReDesign framework

PPDS, the exclusive global provider of Philips Professional Displays, has renamed its EcoDesign as ReDesign. Along with the new name, the company has extended the circular design approach, applying it to the development of new products.

The PPDS' ReDesign philosophy spans initial concept and manufacturing, packaging, delivery, installation, remote management and end of life recycling, according to a press release.

"In 2023, we introduced our QE-Line EcoDesign display, delivering the same high performance as its equivalent Philips Signage 3000 Series (Q-Line), while reducing power consumption by up to 50% compared with the same. This approach has allowed us not only to continuously improve our own sustainability performance, but also to help set new benchmarks for the industry," Andrea Barbuti, global product manager in EMEA for PPDS, said in the release. "Now, we are incorporating those learnings — that philosophy — into all our latest displays."
