PerceptIn offering IoT module for measuring DOOH effectiveness

PerceptIn recently launched its PerceptIn Intelligent Viewer Tracking Module, which allows DOOH advertisers to create in-store customer profiles and measure sentiment and engagement. The PIVTM monitors both engagement and viewer reactions of up to 10 customers at once within five meters, according to a press release.

The solution tracks how long a customer interacts with an advertisement or vending machine, and it generates customer data such as gender and age. It does not store any face ID information and personally-identifiable information. Other features include:

  • Can determine how much the customer watches the advertisement.
  • Connects product information to customer profiles.
  • Can work with PerceptIn's monitoring and analysis platform for analytics.

"The business intelligence generated by PerceptIn Intelligent Viewer Tracking Module is extremely powerful," Shaoshan Liu, founder and chairman of PerceptIn, said in the release. "The PerceptIn Intelligent Viewer Tracking Module has the potential to completely revolutionize the offline advertising, and the vending industries by enabling brands to better understand their customers, who buys their products and ad effectiveness."

PerceptIn is using the solution with its DragonFly Intelligent Advertising Vehicle, a autonomous vehicle equipped with digital signage and a vending machine.
