Peerless-AV rolls out kiosk powered by BrightSign media player

Peerless-AV has rolled out its All-in-One Kiosk powered by BrightSign. The device comes with a  55-inch LCD display with 10 points of IR touch and a BrightSign XT1144 Expanded I/O Player, according to a press release.

The kiosk offers networked content playback, remote snapshot, live text, media feeds, HD single video decoding and other features. Customers can also directly interact with the kiosk through a Wi-Fi enabled device. Other features include:

• HDMI input.
• End users can update content via Ethernet, Wi-Fi or BrightSIgn app.
• HTML4 engine powers content playback and modular assets.
• Can display live feeds such as news, finance, weather or social media.

"The new All-in-One Kiosk now includes a slimmer design and a new media player that delivers faster and more powerful HTML and graphics engine as well as an HDMI input to play content from other devices. From wayfinding to entertainment to advertising to digital merchandising, the new All-in-One Kiosk can be easily implemented to create an interactive customer experience."
