Mvix has partnered with MJ Freeway, a seed-to-sale tracking company, to offer POS-integrated menu boards for marijuana dispensaries. These menu boards can automatically update a price or inventory of an item based on POS data, according to a press release.
The menu board eliminates the need for employees to enter data twice, since the POS can update it in real time. Dispensaries can also pick and choose whether to display some or all of their inventory.
The menu boards can also display cannabis themed videos and news, social media scrolls and promos.
"Technology solutions should deliver measurable return on investment. Through our MJ platform integration with Mvix, retailers realize ROI in both labor savings and an improved in-store experience. This is exactly the type of smart, scalable solution we love to bring to cannabis businesses," Jeannette Ward, vice president of global marketing and communications at MJ Freeway, said in the release.
Mvix is also working with Baker, a CRM provider for the cannabis industry, to allow Baker's CRM to manage menu boards, inventory, POS and customer data, according to the release.
