Mvix now supports LG signage displays

Mvix has expanded its device-agnostic platform to support LG system-on-chip signage screens. The platform called Mvix Flex, also supports Chrome OS and Android, according to a press release.

It supports live video playback, including HDCP encrypted content, along with remote screen and volume control. The platform also supports RTSP, an AV live streaming solution.

"We couldn't be more excited to announce the release of Mvix for LG webOS," A. Jay, senior director of business relations, Mvix, said in the release. "We're big on shifting focus to choice of CMS, support structure, and business model, and LG's SoC displays empower us to do just that."
