Moving Walls, a Singapore-based advertising technology provider, has entered an agreement to acquire Quad42 Media, a digital signage management platform based in India.
Quad42 Media delivers cloud-based digital signage software solutions while Moving Walls operates Moving Audiences, an AI-based program that automates OOH media planning, buying and measurement on more than 20,000 digital billboards in Asia, according to a press release.
Through this acquisition, Moving Tactics aims to improve its position in delivering AI-powered communication solutions to retailers.
"Once digital screens are connected and programmable, besides being able to push contextual communication based on the viewer, they can be opened up to advertising demand systems," Srikanth Ramachandran, founder and group CEO of Moving Walls, said in the release. "Quad42's digital signage solution is built for commercial environments and is able to deliver context-based messages. Besides welcoming the entire Quad42 team of digital signage experts to the Moving Walls family, this acquisition fast-tracks our efforts in the programmable signage vertical."
