MediaSignage Inc., provider of enterprise and entry-level digital signage hardware and software, today announced the release of the latest version of its Windows-powered mediaBOX, V3. The latest mediaBOX digitalsignage player runs both faster and cooler than its predecessor, making it better prepared to handle some of the rigors associated with various digital signage installations, the company said.
In addition, MediaSignage has developed a new collection of components for the StudioLite, the company's entry-level software product. These new components are designed to allow users to quickly and easily drag and drop content, produce time-sensitive schedules and prepare a digital sign or digital menu board quickly and easily, the company said.
"We're really looking for ways to eliminate any and all excuses for why a particular retail or out-of-home establishment doesn't have some type of digital signage," MediaSignage President Nate Nead said in the announcement.
"Most of our customers aren't paying customers, but we also provide them with most of the features they need to get started. It's a virtual no-brainer," he said. "When they do eventually get started, it's only $99/month with no contract."
New product releases are expected soon, the company said, including integration with AWS CDN CloudFront, which will add 10-plus new locations worldwide, intended to allow for faster server and connection speeds at more remote locations.
