McDonald's Sweden has partnered with digital signage provider Visual Art to digitize all of its outdoor menu boards. Currently, the QSR has delivered the outdoor drive-thru solution in its Akersberga and Lindvreten locations with plans to rollout to all of its locations by 2020, according to a press release.
The displays are powered by VA player, a Visual Art software that has been powering digital solutions at McDonald's since 2006. The QSR can customize the content for the outdoor menu boards based on the time of day, weather and active campaigns, according to the release.
"Simple and fast ordering process and really good burgers is the best way to make our McDrive-guests happy, and our new digital signs will become an important part of this work forward," Rickard Berthold, digital lead, at McDonald's in Sweden, said in the release.
