MasterpieceVR unveils 3-D content creation suite

MasterpieceVR recently announced Masterpiece Studio, a 3-D content creation suite that comes with Masterpiece Creator, a 3-D modeling software package and Masterpiece Motion to rig any 30D model, according to a press release.

The company designed the package so users without extensive 3-D modeling experience can craft their own 3-D content. They can rig, skin, pose or apply pre-made animations to 3-D models with the solution.

"Masterpiece Studio is a first of its kind VR creative suite that is a cost-effective solution to rapidly go from idea to usable 3D assets," Jon Gagne, CEO, MasterpieceVR, said in the release. "The suite's feature set lets creators make professional 3D assets extremely fast and can be adopted into an existing workflow in just hours."

Masterpiece Studio supports a variety of 3-D programs such as 3DS Max, Maya, ZBrush, Marmoset, Blender and others.
