Toronto-based Dot2Dot Communications has helped expand in-store messaging at Manitoba Telecom Services Inc.'s MTS Connect stores by deploying new LCD digital signage "posters."
According to a news release from the software provider Scala, the digital signage network, managed by Gorrie Marketing Services, uses Scala software for dynamic media distribution to 27 MTS Connect stores.
MTS has used digital signage for more than seven years, according to the release, but the new digital posters — Samsung 1-meter (40-inch) LCDs in portrait mode — are replacing traditional static posters to allow promotional content to be updated more quickly.
"This gives us the opportunity to rapidly deploy content to our customers, as well as a cost-effective, 'greener' in-store communications strategy," MTS spokesman Rick McMillin said in the release.
