TORONTO — ADFLOW Networks, provider of digital signage and interactive kiosk technology, and TTI Technologies International, provider of self-service business centers, Internet kiosks, boarding pass kiosks and automated concierge services, recently teamed up to provide Manhattan's Belvedere Hotel with a digital signage network.
The Belvedere Hotel's digital signage initiative utilized LCD screens to engage guests, enhance the brand of the hotel and promote selected features and services provided by the hotel.
"The monitors simultaneously display a message ticker that scrolls along the bottom of the screen," said Michael Link, Belvedere Hotel general manager. "We welcome guests to our hotel as well as recognizing groups, special meetings and events. The monitor also loops through various hotel pictures with descriptions promoting the rooms, restaurants and services the hotel has to offer. We also plan to sell advertising spots to area merchants and restaurants to promote their businesses. If desired, we can switch the screen to full screen mode for viewing of sporting or major news events."
Link says there are plans in place to add monitor capabilities in guest rooms by interfacing with the in-house movie provider. Their channel will be one of the first seen each time the television is turned on. The channel will also be integrated into the fitness center and elevators when they are upgraded later next year.
