Lithuanian Radisson deploys digital signage for EU events

The Radisson BLU Hotel Lietuva in the Lithuanian capital of Vilnius deployed digital signage solutions to upgrade the customer experience when it hosted events as part of the Lithuanian presidency of the European Union council, according to an announcement from Swiss digital signage firm Navori SA.

The hotel featured digital signage solutions by Baltics-based solutions firm Hansab, the announcement said. Twenty-four screens equipped with the Navori QL software solution were integrated into the conference center, lobby, restaurant and SkyBar environments. "This is the largest hotel deployment in the Baltics that uses the most up-to-date Android digital signage platform on the market," Hansab Sales Manager Dovydas Stukas said in the announcement.

The 22-floor hotel located near Vilnius' Old Town is a leading conference and meeting center in Vilnius, offering 17 multifunctional meeting rooms that can host up to 1,700 attendees. Radisson needed a professional, cost-effective, interactive wayfinding and information solution, and management also wanted to make the conference center and hotel lobby more appealing and inviting for their guests, according to the announcement.

Hansab provided the Radisson conference center, lobby, restaurant and Skybar with a custom solution based on the hotel's specific needs: a series of glass-framed 15-inch meeting room screens integrated into the walls and commercial-grade slim bezel Samsung displays. Each screen is powered by the new Navori QL StiX Android-based digital signage players.

Real-time data is automatically displayed in preconfigured templates; all meeting room and wayfinding information is available, from entrance and lobby levels to individual room and venue specific data that can all be displayed on screens located at each meeting room. Also, Hansab designed the screen layouts to show a mix of real-time lists of conferences with predesigned wayfinding graphics, meeting room content with individual data feeds and a real-time clock. Restaurant and Skybar screens were designed to display special deals, menus and ads.
