Lithuanian convenience store chain Reitan Convenience Lithuanian has recently implemented Samsung's Smart Signage Platform to improve in-store advertising, according to a press release. This was accomplished via a partnership with technology solutions company Hansab.

Reitan Convenience Lithuania currently has signage in the majority of its stores, but it wants to have greater control over the content and allow them to display time sensitive promotions and sponsorships. To facilitate this need, Samsung has deployed displays to 25 Narvesen stores, a brand owned by Reitan, with plans to install 40 more displays by the end of 2015.

The Smart Signage Network is made of three displays: 18 pcs 22-inch DB22D; 3 pcs 32-inc DM32E; and 4 pcs 40-inch DB40E. All content is managed on Samsung's Signagelive cloud platform and is deliever to displays via LAN. Signagelive's software supports a variety of formats including images, video, HDMI inputs, IPTV, Web pages, RSS feeds and QR code support.

"The Samsung solution powered by Signagelive enabled us to rollout and implement the solution in just a few weeks, which was key to the success of the project," said Dovydas Stukas, sales project manager, Hansab. "Narvesen staff now have total control over their network and Signagelive's new proof of play module gives them the ability to show major brands the effectiveness of their campaigns by generating reports on captured data in an easy to understand format."
