Key Systems uses Birmingham DOOH screens to tout its own job openings

How much does Key Systems believe in the power of digital signage? Enough to use it to list job openings within its own company.

The digital out-of-home media software company, using Signature Outdoor CityVision screens, is advertising job vacancies on digital posters in Birmingham, England.

"In meeting the demand for global expansion, Key Systems has built its team of highly skilled and committed developers over many years," CEO Mike Dillon said in a news release. "By using the out-of-home medium, and digital signage in particular, we will attract the right candidates. We also want to demonstrate that we believe in the reach and power of outdoor media."

The Signature Outdoor network launched last year. A 4m x 6m billboard with 10mm definition is located on the approach to the Bullring Shopping Center, while a landscape 6m x 3m 10mm LED board recently went live in the heart of Birmingham. Content is delivered by a Scala media player directly connected to Key Systems' Fusion software, according to the release, and a Digital Director module manages bookings and content dissemination.

The job offers listed on the boards target software developers for projects in the United States, Europe and Australia, the company said.
