Janus Displays installs digital signage at University Hospital

University Hospital in Newark, New Jersey, recently teamed up with JANUS Displays to install digital signage. The hospital was looking for a single-frame enclosure to contain three signs displaying wayfinding, information and announcements, according to a press release.

JANUS Displays designed a frame to contain the three displays, and it also provided Vizi software and the Flex tool to turn the multiple displays into a video wall. The displays can showcase different types of information throughout the day, with live updates. One screen can show wayfinding, while the others can cycle through various announcements and information, according to the release.

JANUS Displays also gave pre-made content and "editable slides" to the hospital to use for the displays.

"When presented with a unique request, we don't provide our clients with a cookie-cutter solution," David Rowell, production supervisor at JANUS Displays. "We take a holistic approach, looking not just at the types of screens the solution will include but also the area where the screens will be mounted and the type of information the screens will display."
