Intuiface intros support for Intel computer vision toolkit

Intuiface has announced support for Intel's OpenVINO toolkit to enable digital signage users to integrate computer vision tools without writing any code. With the toolkit, users can capture age, gender and headpose data for individuals in real time, and use the data to deliver targeted content, according to a press release.

Once running, the toolkit sends a real-time stream of information to Intuiface Player, such as the number of people viewing the display or their gender. End users can configure Intuiface Player to play different content depending on the users viewing it.

"With the help of Intel, computer vision is no longer an insurmountable hurdle for teams lacking the skills, budget, or time to adopt commercial computer vision solutions," Vincent Encontre, COO Intuiface, said in the release. "Our customers will be amazed at how quickly and easily Intuiface's new OpenVINO toolkit integration will enable them to create interactive content driven by the unique characteristics of each user."
