IBase Technology unveils 2 SBCs powered by NXP processors

IBase Technology Inc. recently unveiled two single-board computers powered by an NXP i.Mx 6Dual Cortex-A9 1.0-Giga Hertz processor. The company built the IBR115 2.5-inch and IBR117 3.5-inch SBCs for use in automation, smart building, transportation and medical verticals, according to a press release.

The devices can handle temperatures ranging from -40 to 85 degrees Celsius and they support one GB of DDR3 memory on board. Other features include:

• Interfaces for HDMI and single LVDS display interface
• Embedded I/O as COM, GPIO, USB, USB-OTG, audio and Ethernet
• Open GL ES 2.0 for 3-D Bitbit for 2-d and OpenVG 1.1
• Comes with Yocto 2.0 and Android 6.0 Board Support Package

"The embedded systems industry is currently undergoing a fast transformation that requires developers to build more robust, faster and less power consuming systems," Jackson Mao, vice president of  product planning division, IBase, said in the release. "Our IBR115 and IBR117, based on the i.MX 6Dual-Lite and i.MX 6Dual processor, respectively, are built for this trend by supporting high performance processing, the lowest power consumption and compelling graphics."
