IBASE partners with Acer to deliver digital signage with device management

IBASE Technology Inc. has partnered with Acer Cloud Technology to offer digital signage solutions with Being Device Management to manage systems, which are integrated with internet-of-things. Acer Cloud integrated its Being Device Management platform with IBASE's digital signage players to offer this solution, according to a press release.

With this integration, users and vendors will be able to monitor hardware and troubleshoot remotely, according to the release.

"IBASE has developed cloud solutions by leveraging IBASE signage platforms unique technologies' built-in hardware EDID (extended display identification data) that prevents screen convergence problems due to cable disconnection or failure to identify EDID, as well as the iSMART and Observer featuring automatic power on/off scheduling, automatic power recovery, low temperature boot protection, and monitoring of  system temperature, voltage and fan speed, Archer Chien, director of solution product planning department, IBASE, said in the release.

"By bundling Acer's Being Device Management, we can offer fully integrated solutions that centralize the control and management of systems to improve operation efficiency and deal with ongoing costs associated with operating a digital signage network."
