IBASE launches 8th Gen Intel digital signage player

IBASE Technology Inc. has introduced its SI-642-N-4K digital signage player, which uses the 8th Gen Intel Core U-series processors. This fan-less player can power two independent displays via one HDMI 2.0 and one Active DisplayPort 1.2 with 4K content at 60 Hertz, according to a press release.

The player comes with the MBD642 motherboard, which in turn is equipped with dual Gigabit LAN, four USB 3.1, dual channel DDR with up to 32GB support and expansion slots such as M.2 3042 B-key for 4G/LTE, M.2 228 M-key and M.2 240 E-key for storage and installing capture cards respectively.

Other features include:

  • Intel vPro and TPM 2.0 features for remote management and data security.
  • Runs on Windows 10 and Linux Ubuntu.
  • Comes with Intel HD Graphics 620.
