Ibase announces rackmount network security appliance

Ibase Technology Inc. has announced its FWA8600 1U rackmount network security appliance, built on the Intel Xeon Processor D-2100 series. Customers can use the device to remotely manage and monitor systems, according to a press release.

This device supports up to 168GB RDIMM with four DDR4-2666 DIMM sockets and one Intel I210-AT Ethernet controller. It also features network interface card slots for up to three IBN cards. Other features include:

• Optional IPMI module.
• One M.2 slot and optional PCI-E x8 expansion slot.
• Two USB 3.0
• RJ45 serial console with LCM display.
