Houston Museum upgrades box office with HD displays

January 19, 2017

The Houston Museum of Natural Science has renovated its box office with HD displays from Houston Dynamic Displays. The company deployed 63 HD 55-inch displays, according to a press release.

The installation is L-shaped and stretches 65-feet along one wall and 25-feet on an adjacent wall. The 63 displays are divided into seven groups of nine displays, with each group working with one controller.

The content is powered by Bright Authour software, which uses HTML5 to showcase time, prices and other information. The museum can also send 4K content to stream across all the displays.

"The Houston Museum of Natural Science is undeniably one of the best things Houston has to offer," Hussain Ali, owner of Houston Dynamic Displays, said in the release. "It's amazing. People come from all over the world to visit, and we couldn't be more proud of the work we've done here, or more appreciative of the chance to collaborate with such an impressive, kind and professional group of people."
