Houston-area digital billboards marking days till hurricane season (Video)

Different regions of the United States have different shared experiences, and in the Houston area, one thing residents live with is hurricanes. So it is no surprise that the community has turned to digital billboards to count down the days until hurricane season officially begins.

According to Houston ABC News affiliate KTRK-TV, the number will be displayed on four digital billboard spread throughout Harris County. County officials said the messages will be seen 8 million times per month.

For the record, as of today the operative number is 29. Hurricane season officially commences on June 1.
