Harris unveils digital signage solution for casinos

November 12, 2007

LAS VEGAS — Harris Corp. will introduce its InfoCaster Digital Signage solution for casinos at the Global Gaming Expo (G2E), being held November 13-15 in Las Vegas.

InfoCaster Digital Signage solutions integrate with existing infrastructure systems and enable acquisition, creation, scheduling and synchronizing of content from multiple sources to multiple locations. For casinos and resorts, content is customized to enhance the guest experience at various venues such as food and beverage areas, convention spaces and lobbies, retail shops and gaming areas.

InfoCaster Digital Signage for casinos features include:

  • Jackpot Intelligence: Integrated with the latest bonusing solutions; persistent jackpot and progressives displayed on multiple screens throughout the facility simultaneously with other messages and video; jackpots can automatically display above a certain value.
  • DataIP: Individual players can be set to display different information from the same data source. Layout templates containing multiple regions can be branded identically, but pre-set to automatically update content appropriate to its location.
  • Multimedia Triggers: External applications and devices can easily integrate into the triggering architecture, allowing players to trigger a/v switchers, fog machines, fireworks, etc.
  • Property Map Player View: The ability to drag and drop players to a campus map and view player status.
  • ControlTrack: Create/edit content and schedules via quick editors and add graphics or clips manually, region by region.
  • AutoLink with Schedule Manager: New ODBC-connected graphics, broadcast-quality animations, rolls, and crawls can be automatically created on the Player without operator intervention.
  • RunSelect: Content can be triggered by operator, automation, or jackpot controller that supports GPO.
  • DelphiGraphicsPlus: An InfoCaster add-on to the Delphi database that allows additional data and graphics to be associated with their event records.
