GoVision deploys LED display arsenal at 2025 Ryder Cup

GoVision is deploying 27 LED boards of various sizes along the course of the 2025 Ryder Cup.

The golf event is taking place in the last week of September in Farmingdale, New York, at the historic Bethpage Black Course.

The LED display deployment features 27 video boards with 153 million pixels, according to a press release. The panels filled 53-foot 12 semi-trailers.

In addition, GoVision's crew of 30 on-site technicians will be managing more processing power than Mission Control at NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston, 39 Boeing 787 Dreamliners or 35 CT scan machines.

"This year's Ryder Cup is a monumental undertaking — a game-changing event for GoVision and for the sporting industry overall," GoVision Founder and Chairman Chris Curtis said in the release. "It's a record-setting collection of video displays for us, and the largest temporary LED deployment in North American history ever. We can't wait for the world to see it!"

The LED video technology on display during the 2025 Ryder Cup includes:

  • Hole #5 - (45'11" x 36'1") 6mm.
  • Hole #7 - (41' x 32'10") 3.9mm.

  • Hole #14 - (41' x 32'10") 3.9mm.
  • Hole #16 - (50'11" x 39'4") 3.9mm.

"Over the years, we've expanded their role to enhance the spectator experience, and this year's Ryder Cup showcases the pinnacle of our collaboration. Ryder Cup guests are set to enjoy an unparalleled visual experience."

GoVision is also controlling 10 additional screens on-site as part of the overall production.

The GoVision crew worked side-by-side with PGA of America officials to ensure every video board is integrated within the natural beauty of Bethpage Black.
