Fluid Sound delivers NEC digital signage to The Lot

March 8, 2019

Fluid Sound recently completed an A/V installation for The Lot, an entertainment venue in San Ramon, California. The company provided NEC displays for food and beverage sales and a three-by-three video wall, according to a press release.

Fluid Sound deployed displays at each auditorium entrance to announce each movie, and four displays in the box office area to showcase movie information and times. Other installations included:

  • Tapped horn floor standing subwoofers by Danley Sound Labs in the restaurant and bar areas.
  • Two NEC displays for food and beverage sales.
  • Nine 55-inch NEC displays put together for a three-by-three video wall.

The Lot has additional locations in San Diego and Orange County, which also partnered with Fluid Sound for A/V products. For the San Ramon location, Fluid Sound provided video over IP devices for video input, according to the release.

"At The Lot locations in Fashion Island, La Jolla, and Liberty Station, we used traditional video switches and matrices. In the San Ramon venue, we went with video over IP devices from Just Add Power," Dennis Pappenfus, Fluid Sound, said in the release. "This allows all of the video inputs to be routed to any video display in the venue, creating a virtual matrix that utilizes a standard ethernet network, without the need for a traditional physical video matrix router."
