Sarasota, Florida's Laurel Oak Country Club, a private, member-owned and Audubon-certified golf and country club, has selected Mvix as its digital signage provider, according to an announcement from Mvix. The digital signage solution has helped the club to strengthen the club-member relationships through improved communication and increased the members' involvement with the club, the company said.
The club's membership and member-ownership policies call for significant transparency in its operations and communications, the announcement said. "We want to open the communication pathways, and connect more with our members," Laurel Oak Country Club Executive Assistant Terry Murphy said in the announcement. "We wanted a solution that would enable us to engage more with our members."
Mvix said digital signage has fulfilled this need, not only engaging members but also creating familiarity and boosting cognitive retention -- encouraging members to participate in more events and activities.
For Laurel Oak, digital signage provides members with a comprehensive overview of what the club has to offer, Mvix said. Members and guests are kept informed of meetings and upcoming events, and management is able to highlight activities at the club. Digital signage also has become an essential resource for members, Mvix said, keeping them in the loop on club matters. "It's also a cleaner and more modern approach to sharing information," Murphy said. "It enhances the experience of our club members and lends to the value of membership … Everyone has responded favorably. In fact, the displays have become an information hub, and everyone stops to look for updates."
