DSE13: Lyle Bunn to release how-to guide for digital signage in food service

Coinciding with the first day of Digital Signage Expo 2013 in Las Vegas, digital place-based media industry analyst, advisor and educator Lyle Bunn will release a comprehensive "how-to" guide for dynamic signage use in food services.

Bunn said the guide is intended to help along the way as quick-service restaurants, fast casual chains, concession counters, bars, cafeterias, dining and other food serving establishments seek the revenue growth, operating efficiencies and an economical approach to menu labeling regulations that digital signage can offer.

"The How To Guide for Digital Signage in Food Services," which is sponsored by Stratacache and LG Electronics, will cover digital menu boards, promotion boards, drive-through, queue systems, pick-up counter, infotainment and other on-premises media use.

Elements of the 40-page guidebook such as system design, content approaches, future-proofing, analytics and ROI/ROO analysis will be helpful to food services providers and their partners as well as integrators and supply chain providers, accoridng to Bunn's announcement.

Release of the How To Guide will take place Wednesday, Feb. 27 at 11:30 a.m. at the Stratacache booth on the show floor of DSE13. The full guide will be available as a .pdf download from various digital signage and food services industry websites and by request from info@LyleBunn.com.
