DOOH companies compete in creativity

Ocean, a DOOH media owner, has now launched its 8th annual competition for creative DOOH ideas. The competition is designed to find companies that use innovative technology for their campaigns, according to a press release.

The company will judge submissions for charities, brands, agencies and the creative community. Winners will receive a share of a $839,510.75 prize, and they will have a chance to showcase their creative concepts at Ocean's DOOH locations in the U.K. or internationally.

"Ocean's annual competition has consistently challenged creative thinking within the all screen market, raising the bar for what is possible over the past eight years," Tim Bleakley, CEO of Ocean, said in the release. "It has provided a platform for brands to succeed at global awards ceremonies such as the distinguished Cannes Lions, delivering inspired ideas and aligning creative minds to the opportunities digital out of home affords alongside other progressive platforms and content channels."
