Digital solutions company Prendi named a finalist in 2016 Talent Unleashed Awards

Australian digital solutions company Prendi has been named a finalist in the 2016 Talent Unleashed Awards, according to a press release from Prendi.

Talent Unleashed is an awards program that recognizes outstanding start-up companies and inspiring entrepreneurs dedicated to transforming business and the wider community through technological innovation, according to the announcement. Prendi was named a finalist in the Best Digital SME-Tech Innovation category.

Richard Earl, executive chairman and founder of Talent, announced the Asia-Pacific regional winners for the 2016 Talent Unleashed Awards on July 21 at an event in Melbourne, Australia. Apple Co-founder Steve Wozniak chaired the global judging panel for the awards and was joined by Virgin Founder Sir Richard Branson, Igniting Change Founder Jane Tewson and LinkedIn Managing Director for Asia, Australia and New Zealand Cliff Rosenberg, among others.

The APAC Talent Unleashed winners have several weeks to prepare for the global grand final event on Aug. 18 in Sydney, Australia, where they will compete against the U.K. and European regional winners. The category winners from each region will have the chance to make a final live pitch to the judging panel, with the grand prize winners being given the opportunity to spend one-on-one time with Steve Wozniak as well as a trip to Silicon Valley in the U.S. where they will attend a technology conference and a tour of some of the region's leading tech companies, the release said.
