Captivate, a location-based digital video network, announced that Pelmorex Media Inc, a multi-platform weather information service, has been added as a content provider on Captivate's screens in nearly 200 premier office buildings across the United States, according to a company press release. Pelmorex Media is the parent company of The Weather Network and MétéoMédia.
"The Weather Network and MétéoMédia will deliver real-time weather information and forecasting to millions of business professionals across Canada in English and French," said Lianne Raymond, senior dditor for Captivate's Canadian network. "The Weather Network/MétéoMédia are widely recognized by Canadians as the go-to source for reliable weather information, and we are confident its programming will be enthusiastically received by the upscale professionals who view our network every business day."
Captivate's 12,000 screens are located in 1,800 office buildings across urban markets in North America. The company has experienced 220 percent viewership growth over the past five years, delivering 12 million monthly viewers, the release said. In Canada, Captivate's network encompasses 1,800 screens in nearly 200 buildings, delivering 1.6 million viewers per month.
