Digital signage firms BrightSign, T1Visions land on Inc. 500|5000

Digital signage media player provider BrightSign LLC and touchscreen digital signage software provider T1Visions both announced they have been named to the 2014 Inc. 500|5000 ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies.

Digital signage media player provider BrightSign LLC and touchscreen digital signage software provider T1Visions both announced they have been named to the 2014 Inc. 500|5000 ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies. 

"Inclusion in this year's Inc. 500|5000 validates our company's tremendous effort over the past several years to not simply assume a leadership role within the digital signage industry, but to cement our spot among the most successful private companies in the U.S.," BrightSign CEO Jeff Hastings said in his company's announcement. "We are honored to be included in this year's list, and we aspire to remain on the list for years to come."

Companies such as Yelp, Pandora, Timberland, Dell, Domino's Pizza, LinkedIn, Zillow and many other well-known names gained early exposure as members of the Inc. 500|5000, according to the announcement from T1Visions.

"We are beyond excited to be recognized as one of America's fastest growing companies," T1Visions CEO Mike Feldman said in the announcement. "We can credit much of our growth to strong partnerships with our very first customers. Over the years, these relationships have allowed us to collect feedback and to test, develop and refine our products — leading us to the rapid growth we are experiencing today."

The 2014 Inc. 5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2010 to 2013. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2010. They had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit and independent — not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies — as of Dec. 31, 2013. (Since then, a number of companies on the list have gone public or been acquired.) Companies on the Inc. 500 are featured in Inc.'s September issue.
