Growing "sports grill restaurant" chain Shoeless Joe's has opted for interactive touchscreen menu boards as a way of enticing sport fans, implementing the screens into their flagship restaurant in Toronto and looking to deploy to more sites, according to an announcement from Acquire Digital.
Working in collaboration with newly appointed Canada-based partners RadiantGroup, Acquire Digital provided its digital signage software solution to power interactive menus for the popular sports bar. RadiantGroup also supplied its exclusive technology CaptivTouch digital screens which have been installed outside the bar and use a blend of motion, sound, video and animation to entice customers into the restaurant.
The digital screens entice passing customers by advertising what's going on inside the bar. They also enable customers to interactively browse the menu before entering, adding a level of engagement that has been successful at getting customers into the restaurant, the company said.
To help offset the cost the solution, brand names purchasable from within the bar are using the digital displays to advertise, the company said.
