Digital billboards on buses roll through New York

The sidewalk-facing sides of two buses in Albany and Schenectady have been equipped with digital signs, according to a report from the Times Union. A joint effort by Lamar Transit Advertising and the Capital District Transportation Authority, the displays feature news and weather content from Time Warner.

Currently, the organizations have no plans to place displays on the inside of buses, the report said.
