Australian outdoor media provider APN Outdoor today announced the launch of three new digital billboard sites; King George Square in Brisbane, No. 1 Fitzroy Street in Melbourne and General Holmes Drive in Sydney. These sites, which are all now live, mark the completion of seven new digital sites rolled out by APN Outdoor in the first half of this year as part of the company's aggressive digital expansion, according to the announcement.
The King George Square billboard is located on Ann Street in the heart of Brisbane and was selected for its heavy pedestrian and outbound central business district traffic. Taking its name from the site's physical address, No. 1 Fitzroy Street towers over the intersection of Fitzroy Street and The Esplanade in bayside St Kilda. It is situated near the beach in a busy dining, entertainment and nightlife precinct, reaching large-scale commuters and pedestrians. General Holmes Drive is one of Sydney's busiest roads, running alongside the airport and connecting the city with the south and southwestern suburbs. This newly built digital panel is the first to reach traffic entering Southern Cross Drive headed toward the city from the airport, according to APN Outdoor.

With these final three sites going live, APN Outdoor's digital billboard portfolio now stands at 22 nationally with more planned to launch later in the year, the company said.
