Cybershoes intros VR accessory to enable virtual walking

Cybershoes GmbH recently released its self-named virtual reality accessories for users to wear on their feet. These Cybershoes allow users to walk or run in a VR game, according to a press release.

The shoes have directional tracking and allow users to walk in place to control their in-game movement. They are compatible with SteamVR, HTC Vive, Oculus Rift or Windows Mixed Reality.

"VR is an endless space, but you cannot walk in it," Michael Bieglmayer, inventor and CEO of Cybershoes GmbH, said in the release. "The Cybershoes are the solution to that problem, as they allow you to walk in virtual reality and enhance your immersive experience by letting players control their game play through natural movement, and it can be used by anyone with a VR system and a swivel bar stool."
