ClearOne releases new AV encoder for media streaming

ClearOne's new single-channel-priced VIEW Pro E110 Encoder, which is designed for single-media input settings, is the latest addition to its line of VIEW Pro multimedia streaming components, according to a company press release.

The company designs, develops and sells conferencing, collaboration and network streaming and signage solutions for voice and visual communications.

"ClearOne's new VIEW Pro E110 Encoder is a single-channel alternative to our popular dual-channel VIEW Pro E120 Encoder," said Lewis Eig, ClearOne sales director, Network Video and Audio Streaming, North and Central America. "The VIEW Pro E110 provides a lower-cost encoder for customers who have asked us to offer a single-channel option."

ClearOne's E110 Encoder delivers high-quality video with configurable 4:4:4 and 4:2:0 color sampling; standards-based streaming formats; 1080p60, H.264-based, high-profile encoding with lossless compression; low end-to-end latency; and full HDCP support, the release said.

ClearOne's VIEW platform comprises a complete AV distribution solution, featuring AV encoders, decoders, amplifiers and ethernet switches that can scale to any project size, from light commercial to complex and large venues, according to the release.

"It's scalable while providing complete flexibility," Eig said. "By pushing our technology to the edge of the network, we've eliminated the need for costly hardware matrix switching. Proprietary cabling has limitations, so we have eliminated the cabling too."

ClearOne's VIEW Pro E110 Encoder is configurable with ClearOne's new VIEW CONSOLE software.

"It is an ideal match for AV environments ranging from corporate communications and hospitality and entertainment to education, healthcare, houses of worship, digital signage, and more," Eig said.

He noted that the encoder is supported by ClearOne's PANORAMA video composition software license and audio mixing software license, which enables the combination of multiple audio sources. It also offers source-selection and control software for Windows, Mac, Android and iOS devices.
