Cinepolis selects nsign.tv for digital signage

Cinepolis, a cinema line based in Latin America, has selected nsignt.tv to handle its digital signage channels in Mexico, Brazil and part of the U.S. AV integrator Stratech has remotely downloaded and installed 1,600 nsign.tv players for Cinepolis displays so far, according to a press release.
The cinema chain used intelligent templates called applets to change and update the content from an external source. Nsign.tv also integrated readable .xml files into the displays.
"We were put to the test in a variety of scenarios, to which we responded quickly and with solutions, giving form and bringing to life all of their requests: Custom made applets, superimposed text on video, integration of the nsign.tv player with their existing hardware, synchronization of screens to create wow effects," German Talon, CTO of nsign.tv, said in the release. "There was no request that we could not develop to showcase the versatility and power of our software."
