Digital signage solution developer CAYIN Technology today announced its participation in COMPUTEX Taipei 2015, at which the company will be introducing its new SMP-8000 digital signage media player, along with a showcase of the player's flexible content capabilities.

Digital signage solution developer CAYIN Technology today announced its participation in COMPUTEX Taipei 2015, the largest ICT exhibition in Asia, at which the company will be introducing its new SMP-8000 digital signage media player, along with a showcase of the player's flexible content capabilities.

The show takes place June 2-6 at the TWTC Nangang Exhibition Hall in Taipei, Taiwan. The new players integrates technologies including cloud services, sensors, live streaming and more, aimed at enriching the full-HD experience, the company said.

The latest model has four built-in display outputs, allowing flexible multidisplay modes with as many displays as 4x1 or 2x2 video walls. Each output supports full-HD display resolution and up to 4K if in single-display mode, the company said.

The SMP player is preloaded with user-friendly content management software, designed to give users adequate access to utilize various visualizations. The ready-to-use Web-based Skin Editor accommodates clients from experts to novices, as it requires only simple drag-and-drop to create templates and achieve professional appearances, the company said. Users can utilize HTML5 to design Web applications from scratch and even create proprietary management tools via CAYIN's SDK.

To illustrate the capabilities of its SMP players, the company's booth will feature a "Sensor Demo Experience" set to demonstrate the integration between optical sensors, video cameras and touchscreens, as well as the ability to utilize digital signage as an element of social media campaigns.
