CAYIN partners with QNAP to offer CMS, facial recognition solutions

CAYIN Technology Co. Ltd. has partnered with QNAP Systems to provide integrated digital signage and facial recognition solutions. QNAP will provide its Network-attached-storage technology to CAYIN's products, such as CMS Station, MediaSign Player and facial recognition software, according to a press release.
The NAS technology creates storage space that can more easily be accessed through a network connection. For example, customers can use the QNAP App Center to automatically install the CAYIN CMS Station, skipping the need for compatibility verification. In addition, NAS provides file transcoding, video playback and video converting for the MediaSign Player.
QNAP has also integrated its QNAP facial recognition software-QVR Face Tiger with CAYIN's SMP media player to deliver targeted advertisements based on a customer's age or gender or the number of customers in a given space, according to the release.
