U-Vend has been given exclusive rights for the sale of Arthur's Smoothies in self-service kiosks across Canada, and the kiosks will include a digital signage advertising component, according to a U-Vend press release.

The California company is a provider of products and technology for self-service kiosks in "grocery stores, drug stores, mass merchants, malls and other retail environments across North America."

"Our new relationship with the all-natural Arthur's Smoothies brand provides U-Vend with a tremendous opportunity, in particular, to have secured the exclusive right for the introduction of Arthur's branded self-serve kiosks and merchandisers in the Canadian market. This agreement allows U-Vend the prospect of placing the Arthur's Smoothies kiosks and merchandisers in the hundreds of high-volume big box stores, sporting facilities, shopping malls, convenience stores, cafeterias and airports located throughout Canada," U-Vend founder and COO Paul Neelin said in the announcement.

Arthur's Smoothies' remote capabilities allow operators to check bank deposits, sales, digital signage advertisements and inventory online.

"The kiosks will also have our UV Digital screen displaying the complete line of Arthur's products available, nutritional information, new location openings and information on how interested distributors can become an Arthur's kiosk owner/operator," Neelin said in the release.
